It’s a brand new year…..2009. Don’t you think it’s about time you updated your look a little? I am sure that many of you have certain accessories that are classics that you will always keep in your jewelry arsenal. However, there are those trendy pieces that you are tired of or may never wear again. If you relied on a lot of sterling silver last year, why not infuse some vibrant colors into your ensemble via radiant gemstones? If you were sporting a bohemian look with lots of beads, why not try a sleeker look with geometric sterling silver designs? Whatever your look was in 2008, it is time for a little change.

I know it’s very expensive to get a new wardrobe…so have some fun with some jewelry accent pieces. Jewelry is a great way to have fun with trends and stay in step with the fashion savvy. This spring black and white are going to be major colors among jewelry palettes.

These eye-catching accessories look great with a lot of different wardrobe choices and they show off your fun-flirty side without putting a dent in your bank account.

Another major trend in fashion jewelry that is always hot in the spring time is warm color. I am talking about deep corals, beautiful shades of browns and bright turquoise. Clothing in the spring time relies on a lot of soft colors, so a burst of color from your jewelry will balance out your ensemble brilliantly.

As far as themes go, there is no denying that the floral theme that made big impact on the jewelry scene last year will definitely make it through spring of this year. It makes sense; most people think of flowers during the spring time. Adding a floral piece to your ensemble shows off your feminine, playful side but does not diminish your knowledge of what’s in style.

Following these simple rules will keep you in style no matter what you are wearing. A lot of trends from last year are still in; there are just some minor adjustments this year. Remember, accessorizing should never be hard work it should always be fun.
